More than 750 employees & family members received their second dose of the COVID-19 Sinopharm vaccine at a drive organized especially for Jumbo Group staff members. A large number of our colleagues from the Retail Stores, Service Centres, Warehouses as well as our Office Staff took their second shot of the vaccine.
Our CHRO, Shishir Jha said: “The UAE government has been at the forefront in protecting citizens and residents from the COVID 19 virus and all of us are responsible to play our part in defeating this pandemic. The vaccination drives that we have organized across the company have seen an enthusiastic response. We are proud that so many of our employees have chosen to protect themselves, their loved ones and the customers & partners they interact with. I extend my heartfelt thanks to all our employees who have participated in the ongoing vaccination drive against Covid-19.”
The next vaccination drive at Jumbo is under planning and will see another 500 employees receive the shots.
