We are delighted to announce that Jumbo 3D Manufacturing Company received a certificate of recognition from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to recognise our efforts in supporting the healthcare front-liners during the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year.
Siddhish Sriganesh, Head - Corporate Marketing & E-Commerce, received the certificate on behalf of Jumbo Group, from Dr. Farida Al Khaja, CEO of Clinical Support Services and the Chair of the Health Innovation Council, DHA.
Using futuristic 3D printing technology, Jumbo manufactured & supplied protective face shields to DHA as part of Jumbo’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme to support the comprehensive precautionary measures that were taken by the UAE government to fight COVID-19 and provide the highest level of protection for healthcare frontliners.
During the pandemic, the supply of traditionally manufactured shields was disrupted due to a massive spurt in demand, and Jumbo 3D Manufacturing rapidly mobilised its resources and expertise to manufacture these face shields in a very short time to bridge this demand-supply gap. As a pioneer in 3D manufacturing services, Jumbo was strategically well placed to support the Dubai Health Authority and the UAE government fight the virus and keep health workers well protected.
